Baltimore Humane Society Vehicle Donation Program
The Baltimore Humane Society is an independent, non-profit, no-kill animal shelter, founded to protect our region's pets and to address their suffering.
Founded in 1927 by Mrs. Elsie Seeger Barton, we serve the community with a low-cost Spay/Neuter and Vaccine Clinic, a pet cemetery with bereavement services, and 343-acre protected wildlife sanctuary.
BHS also offers educational outreach programs, a free monthly grief support group, Pets for Patriots, a pet food bank, Read to the Animals, animal visits to Stella Maris long term care residents, and free pet adoption for first responders.
BHS receives no operational funding from any animal welfare organizations, such as the Humane Society of the United States, or from the county or other governments. It's through the support of the community that we are able to keep our doors open.
